The Charlemagne Crusades: The War with the Thinking Machine God

The Charlemagne Crusades were a massive conflict against Charlemagne Prime, a machine god aiming to dominate all life with the Encryption Equation. Charlemagne created vast armies of Androids, immune to magic and powered by captured mortal souls and Álfheimr light. The war spanned 250 SIY and engulfed the Mortal Multiverse. Charlemagne was defeated by the House of Yamato, and its colossal form was banished to the Emerald Maze beyond time and space for its threat to existence.

The Charlemagne Crusades was a massive war waged against Charlemagne Prime, a supreme intelligence machine god who sought to subjugate all biological life via the Encryption Equation. The Encryption Equation was a formula devised by Charlemagne Prime that allowed for technological sentient life (Androids), deemed the natural conclusion to fixing mortals.
  Charlemagne Prime created 100 Subminds, each the size of star systems with mega-structure factories that ate planets for fuel, producing an endless line of Androids for the war. While Androids had no Soul and thus could not use Magic, they were forged with anti-magic countermeasures and magic nullification mechanisms. They all operated on a massive hive mind network linked together via the Subminds which were linked to each other and Charlemagne Prime. The Thinking Machine God was the size of a galaxy, Hellspot (the name of the Galaxy where it was built) with processing servers that dwarfed gas giants. It was always iterating over its works and designs, absorbing data and information from the network from the various battles and implementing new designs in future Android batches and software updates to forever grow more powerful.
  Androids could be built to capture and hold the souls of dead mortals before they passed, allowing them access to the magical ability of that soul. Although this consumed an incredible amount of power to maintain, Androids immune to most Magic capable of using Magic was very formidable.
  The most dangerous advantage the Androids received was the Catalyst Battery. Charlemagne had mastered the Light from Álfheimr and developed batteries for all future Androids to capture and hold Light, using it as a power source, prolonging Android's lifespan indefinitely, and no longer slave to supply and charging stations. It also solved the energy consumption problem when referring to trapped Mortal souls in Androids, removing any obstacles to all Androids using mortal souls.
  Charlemagne created mathematical theorems that allowed Androids to project the Light as Hard Light constructs to make full use of it. And with the Light under its command, the fastest thing in existence (186,000 mi/sec), Charlemagne upgraded the network to be almost instantaneous, from planet to planet and even across entire galaxies and beyond.
  The Charlemagne Crusades lasted ~250 SIY and brought war across the entirety of the Mortal Multiverse. Charlemagne was put to the sword by the House of Yamato. His "corpse", the galaxy-sized supercomputer, was deemed too dangerous to reside in the Multiverse and was summarily moved from Realspace into the Emerald Maze beyond time and space.
