The party successfully infiltrated the bandit camp and made away with the inactive Shield Guardian.

Avarice translated the tomes found within the spire, revealing that an ancient arcane device known as a Mythallar may be the key to ending the Everlasting Rime.

Notes

The party returned to the Caer, Mara setting off to help Scython in her diplomacy efforts. After a brief meeting with Avarice they are joined by Bartleby Bones, a former pirate who's been hired to assist the players. They set out guided by the amulet which will lead them to the Guardian. 
They arrive at what seems to be a bandit camp of cannibalistic raiders. They launch an attack which becomes a long and hard battle, ending with Shney dead on the ground. The bandits call for a truce, allowing the party to make away with the Guardian.
