ROTFM Chapter Two Session Five: Mirrior

The party return to the Towns after defeating a weak pack of Gnolls. Tensions are high, with Mara snapping at a blasé Bartleby, who's sword seems to be reacting with a will of its own. The party go their separate ways once more:
Ravice and Ekar purchase a Saber Toothed Tigers' skull for wearing.
Ravice speaks to Avarice, who says that she seems to be a altered Hypnos Magen, a psionic servant created by Netherese mages. She's still looking into how or why she may be created. When speaking of their lives, Avarice claims to care for no one, though Ravice can tell she's holding something back.
Mara speaks to Scython, who tells her that she can't do everything alone. That maybe she won't find vengeance, or maybe she'll even die, but all they can do is "Keep going until you stop. That's all it is." He says that this is about everyone in the Towns, and she can't solely rely on herself or the group. Or even her, as she claims she doesn't have what she needs to support her: "I'm a ferryman without a boat. People like me. I try to use that."
Mara leaves to speak to Ravice as she exits the Caer, where she says "You're names. They're anagrams. Haven't you noticed?" which causes Ravice to leave in a hurry. Mara confronts Avarice for the first time, taunting her with what she thinks she knows and attempting to get more aid, which fails. She can see a hint of desperation in the wizard's eyes however, as if she's been backed into a corner.
As she leaves Mara is spoken to by the magically animated shrine to Levistus, who offers her the power which she seeks....As the night grows darker Ekar leaves a bowl of soup on the stoop for Shney, who has yet to return home.
