The party caught up with Shney after his revival. In the throes of a crisis he says he doesn't know what to think, what he *is*. After a short talk with Mara he hugs her and leaves to be by himself for awhile. Mara explodes on the rest of the party, questioning their competence and warning them, especially Bartelby, that they won't abide any more harm to come to the young bear. The party seperate after this, each attending to their own interests:
Ekar returns to this post in the Mead Hall. He feels responsible for Shney's death, as he allowed the plan to go into action. He "gos with the flow" and that may no longer be enough. Hilin urges him to be more assertive and to dedicate himself to becoming stronger. She believes fate has good things in store for him.
Mara spends time fishing and parlaying along with Scython, who comforts her after Sheny's death. Mara feels she's the most competent of the group, that she's responsible to lead them, but she doubts their strength in the face of the Frostmaiden's threat. She does her best to reassure her, but it's clear that Scython is wary of bearing her whole heart.
Ravice spends time experimenting with Avarice, who determines that she is possibly the only artificial lifeform created in thousands of years, if not ever. It seems psionic magic may have been the part of this process, as evidenced by her natural sorcery abilities.
