Following the loss of crucial records after The Council's downfall, Richardson sends Casey, Vlad, and Zen to Las Vegas to seek aid from former Benefactor Derick Cason. However, they discover him destitute and disconnected, lacking helpful information. Derick suggests seeking assistance from Jason Tethlonis, one of Raahomon's children residing in New York, who might be more willing to offer support in their quest for answers.

In the wake of the devastating loss of major records during the fall of The Council, Richardson, aware of the need for valuable information and guidance, dispatched Casey, Vlad, and Zen to Las Vegas. Their objective was to seek assistance from Derick Cason, a former Benefactor who had once been part of the organization's ranks.   Upon their arrival in Las Vegas, the trio discovered Derick Cason to be bitter and destitute, seemingly disconnected from his former life and responsibilities. Disheartened by his circumstances, Derick conveyed to Casey, Vlad, and Zen that he possessed little helpful information or resources to aid them in their ongoing mission.   However, in a surprising twist, Derick pointed them towards Jason Tethlonis, one of Raahomon's children, who resided in New York. Recognizing the potential usefulness of Jason's knowledge and affiliations, Derick suggested that he might be more amenable to assisting them in their quest for answers and support.
