Eisenheim

In Eisenheim, there are 6 provinces that operate mostly independent of each other. The official culture of Eisenheim is Shwazen.

Government

Eisenheim is a collection of independent provinces that ally together. Each province is led by a noble lineage that has been in place since its foundation. These 6 noble families are as follows: Ahlers, Dietrich, Erhardt, Kunning, Roediger, and Wehrman.
Though they are separate for the most part, in times of conflict the provinces will always fight together. Despite any existing tensions between members of the ruling families, they will always come together to fight an outside entity.

History

Eisenheim was officially recognized as a country in 716, though the different provinces had existed about 30 years before that. Before they agreed to ally themselves, the provinces had many conflicts and disputes with each other. Many of these disputes were due to the heavy influences of the giant tribes that live in this region. Weil, a similar state, refused to join the alliance and was later conquered by Aberia.
In 1493, the tribes of Fjevia declared war on the province, Hornachia, at the behest of the giants. The fight remained relatively stagnant for several years. 5 years into the conflict, Eisenheim made the decision to join their ally Nigashi in fighting Aberia, creating a two front war for themselves. This decision was made in hopes that they could learn from the northern giant tribes. This bet payed of as Eisenheim benefited greatly from the magic and technology acquired from Aberia in 1501.
The next 7 years in battle against Fjevia were dominated by Eisenheim. Many of the tribes were completely wiped out and Eisenhiem, specifically Hornchia, gained a lot of that land. In 1508, Fjevia surrendered and the war was done.
