Ghomaha

Ghomaha is a small magocracic country. Once part of Dhamaq, the wizards decided to separate from the church and form their own country. The only official culture of Ghomaha is Eurabic.

Government

Ghomaha prides itself on its arcane nature, as it is governed by a magic council. Each of the 8 schools of magic have a representative on the council, chosen for their aptitude and knowledge of their school. There is some left over nobility from Dhamaq that don't enjoy following the arcane leadership, but they don't want to get rid of their land and wealth.

History

Ghomaha was officially recognized as a country in 1071, after a nearly 3 year rebellion in Dhamaq. In 1496, Ghomaha, along with Tesania, joined the Kabad-Al Baishian War. They fought against Al Baishia as they too opposed slavery. The war ended in 1499.
