Journalist
Journalists are the ones asking the questions, breaking the stories, and bringing the truth to the people of Doskvol, most of the time. Sometimes they report what they are paid for. They almost never lie. The best ones can say all the right facts, in just the right way to make the magistrates and the bluecoats look great, or terrible. Depends on who's paying. There are a few who still cling to the naive notions of truth.
Prestige: Journalists are often seen as busibodies and tools for the elites. Most are a generally unwelcome sight.
Accoutrement: Journalists will always have a pen and pad. Their most valuable asset, however, is their platform. They have the ear of the people.
Training: Journalists usually come up as amateur authors and will work through the ranks of a paper until they catch a break. Some have even started as rogue agents or contracted by some paper for a specific purpose.
