The Council of Maji

The Council of Maji is a Mage Academy and Guild, and the political organization that governs the city of Karth. Also know as the Seven Towers. The Council is an extremely powerful organization that is separate from the Kortharc confederacy. The Council is generally known for advancing magic and industry, manipulating politics and people, training those with magical spark, and chronicling history. The Tower of Artifice, (The Bronze/Brown Band) The Tower of the Chronicles, (The White Band) The Tower of Diplomacy, (The Blue Band) The Tower of Industry, (The Black Band) The Tower of Justice, (The Red Band) The Tower of Potions (The Green Band). Tiers of Membership I. Novice -Wear a Silver Ring on the index finger of their left hand -required to wear grey when in the city of Karth. -Time spent taking basic classes on magic, magic theory, and generals. II. Apprentice -Wear a Silver Ring with a gemstone of the color of the Council they have Pledged to. -Time spent getting experience with magic knowledge and learning from the Councils they have pledged to. III. Accepted -Wear a Ring of intertwined threads, each colored for one of the seven councils. -Also known as Maji in Training, and Counciless. -This stage is generally spent in Karth. Accepted spend the time petitioning the council's they've pledged to for entry into the council. IV. Maji -Wear a Ring of intertwined threads, except now it holds the gemstone of the Council that Maji is a member of. -Wear pointy hats of the color of their Council.
