Inter-Realm Postal Service

The Inter-Realm Postal Service is the globalised courier service of the Shattered Realms. While Draconic Couriers Incorporated are used for express shipping of more costly items, the postal service is used for sending regular letters which lack the same urgency. Letters are usually collected at their depots until they have a large enough batch worth sending - usually several days up to even weeks - before being despatched to the sorting hubs in larger cities, and eventually onto the next IRPS depot for delivery. The mail system is slow, particularly between nations, with letters sometimes taking months to arrive at their recipients.
On occasion, the IRPS may utilise the The Skyfarers' Guild to expedite their service across greater distances.
