Master Lightweaver

The most gifted Lightweaver in the Shattered Realms is bestowed the title of Master Lightweaver. While given full independence to sail the skies and study the Iridescence at their will, the Master Lightweaver is also expected to provide guidance to young Lightweavers developing their skills, through lectures and demonstrations at the various guild-approved academies.
The role of Master Lightweaver is appointed by the living essence of the Iridescence itself, however the high proportion of Master Lightweavers from the nation of Aerolithica has caused some of the rival nations to question the system, and fostered resentment towards the title.
The current Master Lightweaver is Lumina Vistara.

Cultural Significance

With Lightweavers being essential to life in the Shattered Realms, the Master Lightweaver is generally seen as a figure of reverence in most nations. While the Lightweavers are an independent group, the Master Lightweaver's home nation will often attempt to use their role for political gain.
