Personal history
Laurelson Mithrus was born the 3rd son of King Storvald Mithrus and Queen Apegia Mithrus and was named 'Laureled son' for the golden locks he was born with.
When he was 6 years old, the family welcome the 4th prince Druken Mithrus and being similar in age he and Laurelson were very close growing up. The two were known to play practical jokes, particularly on castle staff and eventually on their three younger brothers. The pair were joined by their mutal friend Renée in their various schemes, including one infamous prank were they waited on a roof to urinate on the heads of passers by.
Laurelson began military training at a young age as expected of a Prince of Mithral, and became quite proficient with his swordsmanship. He would eventually go on to lead a batalion during the Mithrali defense against the Drow during the Invasion of the Il'ithani Empire.

Laurelson is seen as one of the most charismatic of the Mithrus Princes, along with his brother Herliet. During Herliet's prolonged absense from the capital, Laurelson took over a lot of the social political work of the palace.
