Olympian
VERY few in the world today. but the rate of their arrival is greater.
They arrive (usually on a berg maybe) entirely amnesiatic. (without wings? this depends on how the system handles flighted ancestries). They've been exiled from Olympia.
As Olympia is so far removed from the amnesiatic invidivduals in the world civ, most cultural information about their native culture is to be put on that page.
was maybe brought into their church? or hounded and he ran away! he should have represented the rebelious olympian who first objected to the olympian idea of non-intervention, when they see the world below suffering.
Seraphiel is an olympian who arrived around 35-40 years ago who still has his wings intact. has taken up a prominent role in the church.
Olympianism
There is a church that worships the imagined inhabitants of Olympia and has glommed onto (or at the very least been boosted by the arrival of) Olympians.Notable Individuals
The first Olympian, <luci? azazel? prometheus?>Appearance
Are they Birdy? I don't think so. i want them to be majestic and not silly. and aarakokra seem silly. otherwise they could be buff and have human legs instead of talons.- unique-fun fusion of aasimar and birdfolk
- possible relationship to galvan
- further from human - less humancentric
- sell the look better. i just worry that birdy can't carry the imposing scary vibes that i want Seraphiel to have. BUT. At the same time, the typical olympian may fit aarakokra better. want these vibes for seraphiel and Dogma vibes for everyone else.

food and culture:amnesiacnames:any. they wake without a name.
general inspiration:Paradise Lost, castiel?
themes: loss for resisting autocracy?
recent events: gradually increasing numbers? activity of The Church? maybe backlash against this
tropes leaned on: wings (maybe lost) <consider if birdy>
tropes inverted: blessed->damned, celestial children -> native olympians are assholes
Crisis/Doom: the war in heaven (mostly unknown). and trying to exist in a world that knows more about you (or thinks it does) than you do
