Sindr (SIN-dur)

Firey-Elemental creatures that possess the statue/bodies of elves. the cinder can access muscle memories of the body. like molten stone zombies.
commonly they would find the stonecorpse of a elf who died alone (either out in the wilds from old age or something like that). because of their form as elemental fire, some elves see them as a karmic response to them burning the tree. This fire spreads, though. every time a Cinder finds a body, it's able to mitosis off a copy that can hunt down a new body. the cinder weren't a huge problem until the found the ruins of SE City, City of the Dead. where they found a tomb of bodies. now there's a force of them, and once they move on Almira, that crypt beneath it will become a powederkeg. (a good happening, big threat thingy).
Southest City: a City of the Dead. abandoned ~150 years ago when the Zaan dried up. the Cinder moved in and now those bodies are being used. treasures are still there.
