The Snatcher

Born from the chaos of the Old World, Immryg-Umryss was one a human woman. She made a pact with the sprites of nature to gain power and worked her way up through their ranks, becoming there equal and more. When the God Empress took back control of her peoples from these sprites Immryg-Umryss switched sides. She helped the God Empress and tried to earn her favour as she had done with the sprite. The God Empress saw through this deception however and punished Immryg-Umryss, she was cast out of the company of the Gods and so was shunned by her piers. Alone in the world, Immrgy-Umryss slowly went mad. Out of a desperation for company she began to steal people from their beds. These guests of Immryg-Umryss are treated with the utmost care by her, so long as they do not try to leave. Those who stay in her halls say she is a wonderful host; full of knowledge and teachings. None have ever put these teachings to use however, as the only way out of the Snatcher's hold is death.
