Salathiir
Suffering Made Flesh
Blood thick with pain trickles through the cracks of the Multiverse, draining into its darkest and most wretched fissures. The hatred and suffering of the Multiverse pools in the depths of the Abyss, and there it boils and churns like the primordial drought that first created mortal life.
It was from this drought that Salathiir was born, a being of anger and hatred. He rose from the depths of the Abyss to lay wast to the material plain and kill the gods who created it. The war he wanted would not last however, as Golthaarius devised a way to tame him and turn his machinations to the will of the God Empresse's Court. Golthaarius crafted a great chain to be placed around Salathiir's neck. The God Empress Herself took up this chain and battled Salathiir to place it on him. For ten thousand years they fought, locked in combat until the winds and waters of time eroded a hole into the ceiling of the cave where they battled. In that moment the bright light of the sun blinded Salathiir and the God Empress gained the upper hand. She threw the chain around Salathiir's neck and locked him to her will. He became chained to her like a dog to its master and even now he looks for a way out of her iron grip. Salathiir serves for only as long as he is controlled. Should the God Empress ever loosen her hold on him the world will feel his wrath.
