Xavour is the twisted form of a man once kind and loved by many. He was a healer who helped his tribe for many years. Over this time he grew lazy and arrogant however; seeing himself as the god of healing. As punishment for his arrogance Golthaarius took back the power he had lent to Xavour when he needed it most. Xavour was thrown out by the people he had once cared for and was left the wander the Old World alone. He was driven mad by his wanderings, often calling out to people who were not there. One day, those people answered. Xavour was overjoyed to speak to someone and threw himself at their mercy. They told him he could have revenge on those who had wronged him, that he could be a god. Xavour took this opportunity, he returned to his tribe and laid wast to them with a plague, thus becoming the Plague Bringing. Xavour stood in the ruins of his village and was over come with grief. He prayed for a tenday that Death take him but his new found godhood spared his life. It was on his keens praying for death that Vanadon-Necroth found him. She could not end his suffering but rather took him into the halls of the gods. Xavour begged for the forgiveness of the God Empress and was given a place in her court where he serves as one of her most loyal.
