Rift-Stitcher

The Rift-Stitcher tends to be a favorite around the Scrapbook. Turns out, a collided universe isn't very stable. Residents of the Scrapbook tend to open a rift somehow, and at least 20 rifts open in 5 hours. The Rift-Stitcher is a class of truck-like vehicle that deals with such issues.

The Rift-Stitcher's Job

As previously stated, this vehicle repairs rifts in the universes of Scrapbook. But it can also sew things into the Rift. If an anomaly occurs and is kept to see what it does, only to then be deemed dangerous or destructive, the government of the area would call the local Rift-Stitcher crew and ask them to sew the anomaly into the Rift again.
Sewing things into the Rift may be a little tricky, because to sew something into the Rift, one needs to be able to push that something into it. However, given how many rifts open in an hour, this task shouldn't be so hard.
Usual procedure for a re-Rifting is to bundle the anomaly up in rift thread and put the thing in the Rift-Stitcher, and then the crew travels to the new rift and shoves the bundle into the hole before taking more rift thread and stitching the rift back together.

The Crew

The Driver

As one can probably already guess by the name, the Driver of the Rift-Stitcher drives the vehicle around to areas where a rift has been reported. The Driver also tends to bring small treats with them, incase there are any younglings that may be frightened by the tear in their reality. The Driver is often the reason why residents of the Scrapbook get so happy to see a Rift-Stitcher - because they can get their favorite treat from a bottomless bag that the Driver carries with them.

The Sewers

The Sewers, on the other hand, are often not given a lot of attention. However, this is very good for their job. The Sewers are a group of four expert seamstresses or other stitchers that carry a dark needle and a smaller spool of rift thread to stitch the fabric of the universe together.
