Prit Sokolov

Prit Sokolov was more fortunate than many born on Earth. Even though his family wouldn't be considered wealthy by any means, his family owned part of a company that had a lucrative contract with The United Nations helping to manufacture high quality Juice used in the United Nations Navy ships. Due to this, Prit was free to study and work where he wanted. His familial closeness with the ships and science of the Earther fleet had a pronounced effect on a young Prit, and from a young age he knew he wanted to work aboard the ships. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Public Health Service and was placed on the UNN Agatha King , a Truman-class Dreadnought commanded by Admeral Augusto Nguyen. While on the ship, he learned and studied to become a field medic and trained under some of the best doctors the UNN had to offer. After completing a full tour and having graduated medical school, Prit realized that while his love was in medicine, his passion was working through the Public Health Service. He decided to get into the public sector and started working in areas of need, most notably places in The Belt where the Belter population does not have access to, or cannot afford, the proper developmental drugs to prevent spinal fusing while growing up in Low-G. It's not the most glamorous job, but he really enjoys spending time facing his patients, fully seeing the fruits of his labor. Plus, with his connections in the UNN it wouldn't be too hard for him to leverage this field work as a stepping stone towards something else.
