Celestial Thunder

It is commonly believed amongst the faithful of Lormont, that thunderstorms are not products of the mortal realm. Instead, it is a symptom of the veil between the aforementioned and the celestial realm becoming thin.
It is an accepted truth that the armies of the celestial realm are engaged in constant warfare against the darkness that wish to extinguish the stars forever.
When the veil grows thin, the result is that the sounds of celestial warfare bleed into the mortal realm in the form of thunder and lightning.
