Perils

There are not many things outside the Spheres, in the vast Expanse. Most of them are dangers and lethal threats awaiting the oblivious traveler. Hundreds of skips vanish without a trace every cycle, to perils sometimes unknown. From the dreaded Leviathans to the deadly sharp Bladed Streams, some have been identified. But the greater dangers are certainly those that never left any witness.
