Casimira Bojan is a Shifted scientist and adventurer with the power of duplication. She is currently operating the spy satellite, EO-12, gathering intelligence on Edge City.

Physical Description

Special abilities

Binary can self replicate and make a copy of themselves. The copy is the same age as her when it's created, and shares all her memories and skills. However, the copy is biologically male and usually CIS, although rarely straight. Casimira can only have one copy at a time, and he is known as Casimir. They both answer to Binary, and have a strong telepathic connection that verges on a hive mind.

Personal history

Binary grew up in the ruins of eastern Europe, in the blasted lands between European Union and the USSR. Growing up as an orphan and a refugee, she was forced into a life of crime. Binary was a prodigy with a rare natural talent for mathematics and electronic systems, so she taught herself about VR and began hacking HeadSpace. She turned identity theft into an art form, and went from stealing credits from personal accounts to large scale corporate sabotage in a matter of months. Her exploits gained Binary some notoriety in certain circles and eventually brought her to the attention of Graham Gallagher. Even Binary's skills couldn't hide her from HEADSPACE's founder and chief of cybersecurity, and she was taken into custody by a squad of Securicorps Taskmasters. Gallagher had no intention of wasting the young woman's talents though, and instead invested in her, sponsoring Binary's education and acting as her mentor. When she expressed an interest in aeronautics Gallagher got her a job with his fledgling space force, GSpace. Binary helped design the propulsion systems for the exploratory manned satellite, EO-12, and was selected to pilot the vessel on it's maiden voyage.

Gender Identity

Assigned male at birth, she came out as trans before her 12th birthday and underwent sex reassingment surgery.

Education

Binary was an autodidact in her youth, but spent the latter part of her teens and most her early 20's training at some of the most prestigious academies in the EU. She is an expert in a wide range of subjects, with a specialty in electronic systems and mechanical engineering.

Employment

Binary is an engineer and astronaut, but still works on the dark web, hacking the deepest levels of HEADSPACE for fun and profit.
