The Scarlet Fox is a naturally gifted athlete, devoted to maintaining peak levels of physical fitness. However, she doesn't let herself get too chiseled or muscular, as seduction is often called for in her line of work, and she must remain universally appealing.

Sam is a scientific genius, who absorbed everything her parents taught her about engineering. She has invented a host of special equipment and weapons that she uses for infiltration, combat, and everything in between. Sam is a martial arts master and is an extremely skilled acrobat.
Specialized Equipment
The Scarlet Fox has a unique suit of skin tight armor, composed of ultra dense carbon fibers and reinforced with Silq. The suit is red and black, with foxy flourishes, including triangular ears on her cowl.

Personal history
Samantha was born and raised in Skagitville, in a spacious 36th floor unit owned by her parents, both of them engineers at Rock Island. Sam always felt trapped there, and wanted nothing to do with her family's corporate careers. She began stealing as an act of rebellion, but found a passion for the art and became addicted to the thrill of it all. Sam was leading a wild lifestyle, spending time in The Outer Loop and in the slums of The Canyons, partying and pulling off jobs with her friends in Las Plagas. She was approached by the legendary thief known as the Wraith, a life long member of LP and close advisor of the Red Spider. The Wraith helped hone her skills, and encouraged her to craft a new criminal identity, something to build a rep on. Sam began calling herself the Scarlet Fox, and joined Las Plagas, with enthusiastic support from the Wraith. It wasn't long before she made a series of mistakes, leaving her broke and pregnant, when she was 16 years old. Sam hatched a scheme to betray LP, and raid a safehouse of theirs in the Outer Loop, but the Wraith figured out was she was up to and confronted her. There was a short battle that she lost convincingly, but the Wraith couldn't bring himself to finish her or turn her in to the Red Spider. He allowed her to flee, with a promise that she would cut all ties with the Spiderweb and leave the life behind. Sam immediately went back on her word after giving birth to her baby girl, Wendy. She pulled some heists in the Canyons, where Las Plagas was kept in check by The Syndicate, and assembled her own small crew, the Scarlet Fox gang. Sam didn't know or care that the Canyons were already home to an up and coming gang of thieves and corporate saboteurs led by White Cobra, who did not welcome the competition. For years, White Cobra and Scarlet Fox battled for control of the Canyons, but in the end Sam found herself outplayed by the White Cobra Gang, who poisoned her ties to the Syndicate and anyone else in the Spiderweb who may have allied themselves with Scarlet Fox. With her gang members killed, quit, or gone over to the WCG, Sam had no choice but to disappear from the Canyons. She left Wendy, now grown into a young woman, with the keys to a safehouse in The Lowlands and what little remained of her emergency funds, before she fled the neighborhood.
Morality & Philosophy
The Scarlet Fox is above all selfish and self absorbed, and she sees people as a means to an end more often than not. She believes the world is cruel and unjust, and that only by embracing the chaos can you find happiness and success.
