Trinium - Sport

Trinium, or Trinary, is a competitive team sport that is very popular in Coalition Space. Three teams strive to score goals against each other.  The field is a hexagon with goals along every other edge. The game utilizes strategies of aiding or hampering the other teams in order to protect your goal, and to score upon your opponents goal.  Scholars suggest that Trinium has it's roots in a forgotten game of Lost Terra, known as soccer.
Some pundits make light of the similarities between the Coalition Senate and a Trinium match. In that the teams will aid another team and turn on them to score against them in a blink of an eye.  Of course Trinium players are not as likely to be murdered for their "betrayals" as is a Senator caught out in a self serving scheme.
