Session 10 - Mitflits are Sycanomore
General Summary
Continuing their delve into the infested scyamore, the heroes take a moment to rest before pressing forward. Beatrice presses forward in an attempt climb across a shallow chasm lined with handholds. Falling victim to a defense put in place by the Mitflits, Beatrice falls into the chasm and comes face to a face with a giant whiptail centipede. It slithers too and fro while landing savage blows against Beatrice LaRue and Strongarm before it was finally laid low by a stab between the eyes from Mikmek.
Climbing back up the ropes and retreating for a moment to lick their wounds a few of the others scout ahead and hear sounds in the darkness. After finally mending themselves the rest of the heroes regroup and press forward into the waiting salvo of the War Room mitflits with the Mitflit leader riding his prized giant tick. Taking a moment to eminate evil energies from himself, Grabbles surges forward alongside a pimp named Tickleback with his fellow minions following suit. Zolahma Yew flips a table with mitflit battleplans on it which sends a statue tumbling to the earth which causes Mikmek to become hysteric. Enir Fetchling is unwillingly volunteered to donate some of his blood to a pimp named Tickleback while Grabbles poked and prodded him a bit. The heroes have an uncharacteristic level of difficulty combatting the mitflit menace due to the cramped nature of the cave in addition to the profane energies eminating from Grabbles.
After a drawn out battle between the frantic fey defenders, Grabbles, a pimp named Tickleback, and the mitflit defenders were defeated. Mikmek, taking a moment to compose himself, explains that this statue is the reason why the Sootscale Kobolds have supposedly been acting strange as of late and a mysterious newcommer, a purple kobold named Tartuk, has claimed leadership of the tribe. Mikmek says this statue must be returned at once.

With the players being level three, some of the Stolen Lands becomes less of a threat while others are now able to be challenged. Be sure to keep your original goal in mind, however.
