The Fourth Watchtower

Named for the watchtower on the smaller of the two islands, the larger island is rumored to hold an ancient entity in a deep slumber. In ages past, three more watchtowers stood on the other four points of the island, but this one is the only one left standing. No plants grow on the big island, and the soil is an off-putting color.
