The Northern Front

The Northern Front is a country on the eastern continent.

Structure

A council of five representatives from the five major cities is the highest authority. A parliament was in charge of law making and other governmental functions before the Giant war, when they installed a military council above it. Many citizens want the military council removed now that the war is over, but there is disagreement within the high civilian authority.

Demography and Population

The population is 45% Human, 35% Numan, 5% Kopek, 5% Sonar, 5% Sasquatch, and 5% other.

Military

The Northern Front military has infantry, artillery, and air support in the form of heli and hover copters, and a variety of tanks that survived the Giant war. Their main forces, however, are warmech divisions. Their forces are posted around their border, and along trade routes.

Agriculture & Industry

The Northern Front produces a variety of products, many of which are exported. In the southern plains they grow a variety of crops, including plasticplants, dimoid trees, and grains. They also raise animals in the south. The northern region, below the mountains, produces iron and other metals and refines and alloys them into useful materials. They use those metals along with other technology to produce warmechs in sufficient quantity to export.

Education

The general population of the Northern Front is fairly well educated, with an emphasis on mathematics, agriculture, geology, engineering, and international trade.

Major Exports

The Front exports grains, metals, and warmechs. The warmechs they export are slightly inferior to the ones fielded by their military, but they still export a limited amount for fear of being attacked by the weapons they built. They also sell the tanks that were used as their military assault vehicles before the creation of their warmechs.
