With the departure of General Kerensky and the bulk of The League of Stars Defence Force, the Sphere fell into a power vacuum. The remaining Great Houses, struggling to fill the void left by the League's collapse, descended into the Succession Wars. The Sphere entered a long era of conflict, with each house vying for control and dominance.
