Joseph McKinnon of House Remorin
Lord Joseph McKinnon
Physical Description
Special abilities
Joseph is infamously impossible to read, both socially and magically. As nearly a can be determined, he has a natural immunity to most enchantment and divination magics, possibly due to his elven heritage.
Apparel & Accessories
The only decoration Joseph is usually seen wearing is a small silver chain around his neck, from which dangles a disc-shaped pendant just smaller than a copper coin.
Mental characteristics
Education
Like most nobles, Joseph was taught by private tutors all throughout his childhood. He spent a brief time at the Academy Arcane, but his father's early death led him to return to Serris before his first year was complete.
Accomplishments & Achievements
The McKinnon family is fairly prominent in the textile industry, due in no small part to Joseph's business savvy. He has nearly doubled the reported income of the family business, as well as made connections with a half-dozen guilds across the Capitol.
Morality & Philosophy
Joseph is a pragmatic minimalist, and finds distasteful the other families' extravagant displays of wealth. The only piece of jewelry he is usually seen wearing is a small silver chain with a disc-shaped pendant hanging from it.
Personality Characteristics
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Joseph is incredibly apt at all things bureaucratic, as well as being an accomplished businessman. He is equally infamous for his social blandness. He can glide through any party, function, or negotiation perfectly, and leave almost no meaningful impact, positive or negative. Some have taken to calling him the "invisible man" behind his back.
