The Three Moons
No one is quite sure when the three moons appeared in the heavens; all that is known is that records prior to the Ascension Wars make references to a single moon, while the first mention immediately after the wars is of three separate moons. Philosophers speculate that this is connected to the banishing of the Betrayer, as Lunoth is known to have been heavily associated with the moon(s).
Rinus, the Regulator
So called for its precise ten-day cycle upon which the akregian week was based, rinus has been a symbol for order and precision for as long as the empire has existed. Those who wish to evoke a sense of regulation and/or steadfast progress typically utilize a red crescent.
Vilia, the Rogue
Zahiri, the Sun's Sister
In contrast to the other two moons, zahiri does not have lunar cycles. Rather, it is always full in its travels through the sky, rising as the sun sets and setting as the sun rises.
