Altanurt
Khan Altanurt Ulaantalbai (a.k.a. Luu Moritan)
Altanurt (Golden-Bow) was born on February 8th, 104 PS to the orcish Ulaantalbai (Red field) peoples of what was once called the Etsesgui Tal Nutag, the Endless Steppes. He became known as Luu Moriton, the Dragon Rider, after he domesticated the vicious drakes that inhabited his homeland, and later founded the Etsesgui Khanganate. His armies were adeptly trained in the art of mounted combat, particular on drake and horseback, and his Luu Kharvaach (Dragon Archers) became feared throughout the lands.

Personal history
At the age of 16, Altanurt became a warrior in his tribe, proving to be a competent archer as well as an effective tactician. As the orcs of the Ulaantalbai were a nomadic people, Altanurt sought to improve their means of traveling and devised a method of taming a species of draconic creatures called a drake, which were common to the Endless Steppes, a creature often hunted for their meat and scales, which were used to craft armors. When Altanurt brought his tamed drake before his chieftain, the chief was so impressed that he had Altanurt train the rest of the warriors of the Ulaantalbai tribe how to tame and mount the creatures. After 5 years in this position, Altanurt had become a well-respect warrior with the support of the soldiers and admiration of the tribesman.
In 83 PS, however, the chieftain, fearing Altanurts rising influence in the tribe to be a threat to his rule, attempted to assassinate Altanurt. When the assassin attempted to sneak into Altanurt's yurt, they were spotted by a warrior and friend of Altanurt named Nogoongal, who captured the assassin and undercovered the chieftain's plot. In September, Altanurt, Ngoongal and most of the warriors of the tribe, riding atop their drakes, stormed the homes of the chieftain and those loyal to him and slew them. Altanurt was made the chief following this coup.
