Giant Paragons
The religious practices of giants and those who live among them revolve around ancestor worship. They harken back to the legendary lives and deeds of great ancestors known as Paragons, after which many clan lineages are named. The specific ceremonies, rituals, and forms of prayer vary widely with each clan or even family of giant that devotes themselves to a Paragon. The different kinds of giants, cloud, fire, frost, hill, stone and storm, each have a trio of patronic paragons that they tend to revere; however, it is common for them to worship each other's paragons as well. Hence, a cloud giant might offer prayers to the hill giant paragon Emer of hunting before venturing out on a hunt. Since the worship of these ancestors vary across communities, historians and theologians have not been able to catalogue the religious practices of the disparate paragon patronages.
