Hraburne River
The Hraburne, which means "corpse-stream", is a river in eastern Ælnea that originates in the Silfrenbeorg and empties out into Wulf Maw bay. In 161 AS, a fierce battle was fought along the banks of the river at the end of the First Goblin War between the Ælneans and goblins. When the goblin army routed, the Ælneans pursued the goblins to the river, where they drove the goblins into the river to drown.
Fauna & Flora
Along the northern banks of the river where it meets with the Isentree Shaws, a flower known as hrablostma, or corpse-flower, grows. The hrablostma is a vine with alternate, simple leaves on a climbing stem. The flowers of the plant are green, which bloom in the spring and emit an odor that smell like rotting flesh. It can grow to be over 8 feet tall, but will fall over unless it finds external support. Locals believe that this flower began growing in the area because
