A huntress named Gunhild tracks and eventually slays an ancient green dragon named Veioselth the Quiet. Veioselth was a draconic survivor of the Brymtuscan Revolution, its parent one of two dragonlords that ruled over modern-day Ælnea.

A huntress named Gunhild tracks and eventually slays an ancient green dragon named Veioselth the Quiet. There is disagreement as to where exactly the battle started. By one account, Gunhild initially encountered Veioselth in Dracatægel where she cut off part of the dragon's tail before it flew away over Bræconieg and was slain by Gunhild in Wyrmfenn. By another account, the fight started in Wyrmfenn and ended in Dracatægel. Veioselth did lose his tail at Dracatægel, and the wake of the dragon as it flew over Bræconieg shattered the island into the archipelago it is today. The rest of Veioselth's body has yet to be found.
