Bamboozle
Bamboozle is a popular monk team sport played across the Prime Material Plane, though mostly unheard of in non-monk circles.
Execution
Bamboozle is played on a "field" consisting of bamboo shoots evened out at the top. At the ends of the field are two goal posts, guarded by a keeper. Each player has a basket tied to their head used for transporting the "bamball." No appendages are allowed to touch the bamball or to help keep it steady in the basket. The objective of the game is to bass the bamball from basket to basket until it is successfully tossed into the opposing team's goalpost, earning a point. At the end of two 45 minute halves, the team with the most points wins.
To determine which team starts with the bamball, 15 identical balls are shot up from the bamboo stalks at the start of the match, but only one bears the correct markings to identify it as the "legal" ball. These balls are propelled upwards through various means, sometimes mechanical sometimes magical. Each time the bamball is dropped, possession is turned over to the other team.
Every time a player falls off the bamboo stalks and onto the ground, that player is forbidden from reentering play until a pause in play occurs, either from a team scoring, a penalty being called, or possession being changed.
