Confluence

The Confluence is a yearly event on the planet Ahno in Mirrorspace when the planet intersects and passes through its ghostly mirrored version.
This event is the defining event for nearly every Ahnoan civilization and is often used to mark the passing of a year, but it is also treated radically different by each culture, nation, and religion. Some groups few their mirrored counterparts as an accumulation of their collective sin and negative thoughts and that to gaze upon their ghostly reflection would be to invite those feelings back in to one self. Other groups, such as the followers of Dailism instead mark the Confluence as a moment of celebration and joy and believe that speaking one's deepest wishes to their mirrored counterpart will help ensure that their desires come true.
