Dhampir

A dhampir is a half-dead, half-living humanoid that are often mistaken for full vampires. Dhampirs can resemble any type of humanoid, from human to orc.
While dhampirs are capable of reproducing, a group of dhampirs are generally created by a vampire. Many vampires opt not to create dhampirs, as they lose the ability to control their actions and thoughts, as is typical for vampiric thralls, but in return, dhampirs are free-thinking and capable of far more independent action. Nevertheless, many are the vampire lord that had been slain by their dhampirs after forgetting the limits of their control over them.
Dhampirs are not drawn to evil like vampires are, but often find themselves pushed that way as they are shunned by society.
