Give & Take

Give & Take is a pair of magical shobo connected via a short chain. One half of the pair, Take, has the ability to drain life force from a target it stabs, while Give can share that drained life force with its wielder or allies.
The shobo pair was kept as one of the magical weapons held in the Twilight Monastery for worthy students before it was taken by the monastery's former pupil, Lyra, when the Heroes of Saltmarsh raided the monastery in late 1496.
