Heartstone

Heartstones are a spell component most often used by night hags to peer into the dreams of their victims.
Most heartstones appear reddish in color and resemble humanoid hearts, hence their name.
While predominately used by hags, certain devices and other magic users have found ways to utilize heartstones. One such device, the Dream Machine in the Avernian Fort Knucklebones, requires a heartstone to function, using it as a prismatic beam-splitter.
