Elturel
The capital of the realm of Elturgard, Elturel is a powerful city in the Sword Coast and a stuanch member of the Lords Alliance. While the city has existed for hundreds of years, it has only been the Capital of Elturgard after 1444 when the Companion, a great ball of light located above the city came into being.
The Companion bathes the city and the land for miles around in unending light. Not only does this light allow for the farmland around the city to create vast amouts of produce, it also burns any undead it touches making Elturgard one of the few realms that does not fear Necromancers.
