Ahghairon
One of the greatest wizards ever to live, Ahghairon defeated the Warlord Raulor by turning his sword into a snake, and proclaimed himself the first Open Lord of the newly founded Waterdeep. He lived to be over 300 years old, and his body is entombed within Ahghairon's Tower.
