Hybrid fae

A hybrid fae is a person who is a mix of four, or more, different races.

Biological Traits

Seeing as a hybrid fae can be any possible combination of other races, there are no set features that defines what a hybrid fae looks like. But depending on how many percent of one race they are they may display more features of that race, than any of the other.

Hybrid fae have no specific planet of origin, and can be found throughout the whole system.

Civilization and Culture

History

Hybrid fae have existed since the races started spreading and moving to different planets some 1000 years ago, but only got recognized as a race of their own some 300 years ago. They are an obvious minority, but their numbers are slowly increasing.
A hybrid fae who's parents are not themselves hybrid fae are referred to as first generation hybrid fae, while a hybrid fae who's parents are also hybrid fae are referred to as second generation hybrid fae, even if they come from a longer line of hybrid fae.
A hybrid fae doesn't necessarily have to be part any other fae race to be called a fae themself. Fae is simply what some races are categorized as in Interplanetary Common. Hybrid fae is the only race that only has a name in Interplanetary Common.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

The social and political status of a hybrid fae have varied wildly over time, and between places. As the minority they are, they have been, and often are, exposed to discrimination and hostility from the cultures around them. There are of course some societies that fully accept them, and that have never had a problem with them or questioned their status as an individual race.
