Mechanics & Inner Workings
The food is produced in mass kitchens in Corellum under the supervision of entry level apprentices in the CCC organization. These apprentices are responsible for the mass production magic used, such as the modified Goodberry spell that forms the key ingrdient of Adventure Bars, or the modified Gentle Repose that preserves the meals for extended periods.
History
The Conveyable Comestables were created to help boost sales of the Convenient Cooker - while initial sales of the cooker were strong, it had suffered a slump in sales in 887 Af. It was determined that the slump came from lack of good options to use it - while it could prepare adequate meals without an open flame, that made it most useful for preparing meals on the road and the market was not large enough to keep selling. Conveyable Comestables was a multi-pronged response, looking to capture those who were the initial market for the Cooker but had not purchased, to make the Cooker more worthwhile for home use by introducing easy meals for it, and to advertise CCC products in general through branding on the packaging.
