Mal.....
The man they call Mal.....
Well he, protects the weak,
And looks, out for the poor,
He stood up to the lord,
And he, gave him what for,
In our heroes name,
We raise a glass of mescal,
The hero of Castow,
The man they call Mal...
Well, Mal was a humble, goat herder,
Toiling away, like you and me,
But when the lord laid hands on her,
He knew it was time that we were free,
He said, “You can’t do that to my lady!
“Release her, and get out of this place!”
Well that lording attacked and in five seconds flat,
Mal’d crushed him, and mangled his face,
Well he, protects the weak,
And looks, out for the poor,
He stood up to the lord,
And he, gave him what for,
When we cried we can’t,
He told us we shall,
The hero of Castow,
The man they call Mal...
Well, here is what separates heroes,
From common folk like, you and I,
Cause even though we left,
His bow he did heft,
Stood up, and let that arrow fly,
He, stopped the charge with one arrow,
And he, drove them off from the town,
Then the man they call Mal,
Well, he kissed that gal,
And left us, but didn’t leave us down,
Well he, protects the weak,
And looks, out for the poor,
He stood up to the lord,
And he, gave him what for,
The thought of his name,
Always boosts our morale
The hero of Castow,
The man they call Mal...
Mal left us, to care for each other,
And to draw, the lord’s wrath away.
He hoped that, we’d stand up for our brothers,
And wouldn’t, fall back under their sway.
But the lord, he brought in an army,
And he, burned our crops and our town.
We hid in the woods, while they did what they could,
To show us the power of the crown.
But he'll, came back for the weak!
Here to protect the poor!
He’ll stand up to the lord,
And, give him what for,
We’ll stand up and fight,
with him and his gal,
The hero of Castow,
The man we call Mal!
