Personal history
Born and raised in Silverbeard mountain, Wynne is the child of a silversmith and a cobbler. Wynne grew up in a suite of rooms attached to the shop, where his mother made boots and shoes that his father finished with silver accents and buckles. They were comfortable, and Wynne was encouraged to learn both of their trades. Wynne was more interested in animals, so while he has some basic skills in metal and leather working, he focused on handling animals, and eventually caring for them.
He had a mastiff puppy, and was training it to hunt in the tunnels. The puppy was bit by a rabid bat, and was infected. There was a cleric of Corinne in the district, and they were able to cure the dog. Wynne was grateful enough that he began to study the church of Corinne. Finding he had a calling, he entered the seminary, and successfully completed their degree. He was offered to travel to Craghold, and study further there.
Shortly after passing through the Grey Citadel, Wynne was attacked by a creature out of her nightmares. A wizard had summoned a demon, and it broke free, killing the wizard and slaughtering a small village. He was wounded fighting it, but were able to hold it back enough to barricade themselves inside the village smithy. While waiting for the demon to finally get in, he heard the sounds of fighting coming from the outside. A unearthly scream rang out, and everything went silent. Moments later, there was a knock on the door. Hoping that a demon wouldn't knock, and knowing he was dead eventually anyway, Wynne opened the door.
Aakal Ebenezer Venfaren stood at the door, looking down on the dwarf. He smiled, and told her the danger was past. He turned and left, and Wynne was shocked enough to not stop him. He pulled himself together, and continued on to Craghold.
There, Wynne continued her studies. He eventually attained a doctorate, and were given their choice of assignments. He had long since learned the identity of the elf that saved him, and chose to go to Bandar Philia. There, he sought out the wizard, and thanked him. Venfaren invited him in, to discuss the world. He eventually talked about his visions, and fighting a coming evil. Wynne felt a calm come over themselves as he listened, as though Corinne was agreeing. Wynne immediately pledged to the Circle, taking a sabbatical from the church, and working to heal the victims of the enemy.
