Overview
Ephara is the god of the polis, of civilization, of politics, of civil debate, of cities, of law, and of written records. She appears as a tall woman, carrying scroll and a vase, the stern but affectionate patron of governance.
Relationships with other Gods
Ephara's belief that civilization and government is a necessary tool to escape the dangers of anarchy and the wilderness sets her in fundamental opposition to many of the nature-focused gods in the Sadur Basin. In particular she vehemently despises Thassa, and it is said that Ephara is unwelcome anywhere on the sea. Her closest allies are Moradin and Purphoros, who share a love for mortal made craft.
Following
Small shrines to Ephara are often set in corners of government offices and buildings. Most of workers are civil leaders and bureaucrats, working in large cities. A massive statue of Ephara and temple dedicated to her worship can be found in Obacti-Mar.
