Overview
Melora, the Wildmother is the goddess of nature and wilderness. She watches over nature, grants protection from wild beasts, and makes sure followers do not lose their way on their journey. She is typically viewed as a generous and kind god, often saving travelers from the brink of doom, even those who do not worship her. She is also the god who claims domain over repentance, allowing those evil-doers to spend time tending nature to begin to provide a path back to the good.
Relationships with other Gods
Melora is the spiritual leader of many gods who represent aspects of the natural world. As such she is closely allied with Thassa, Bodri, and Heliod. While she is often opposed by Ephara, it is rare that Melora takes any vengeful action against other deities.
Following
Melora has a pretty strong following in the Sadur Basin, typically scattered amongst the outlands and wild areas of the region. Great natural formations are often consecrated as sacred places for Melora, typically isolated places that require long, difficult journeys to access. Clerics of Melora often occupy those places as renowned healers.
