"Farah is by far my oldest and closest friend. Our parents knew each other and would get together whenever we rotated back to Coriolis from a run. As we got older she always did better in school, while I kept hanging around the loading bays and machine shops. But we still tried to be the first customers at every new station food cart together, and she’s a huge music nerd. We’ve gone to loads of concerts together - I loved the energy in the crowd and the wall of sound, and she loved talking about the music theory underpinnings afterward blah blah blah. She’s a traffic controller for the station now. I hope we make it back so I can tell her about this latest shitshow."
