Casa Carajo #1
Taken from an exerpt between the proprietors of the Emerald Kukuyo and the Casa Carajo:
'Chop: El Kukuyo Tavern will now honor its commitments to contracted adventurers. El Kukuyo management acknowledges that it failed to share information about the advanced intelligence and capabilities of the marauding goblins. As such and in accordance with contracts signed, it will pay out all contracted adventuring groups that helped to clear the mountain trade pass.
Teams will be paid in lump sum, it is up to players to come to a reasonably negotiated agreement as to which persons will receive which rewards. Any issues in negotiations should be brought to the attention of El Kukuyo Tavern management. Thanks
Grog: As long time member of the tavern. And in Nii-Nii the Green, tavern lords wishes. The Emerald Kukuyo wishes to make the following statement. We have no contracted adventurers aside from Nii-Niis tavern mates which are contractually obligated to serve in the best interest of the Tavern. What adventurers do on their own time is their own business.
Also the Emerald Kukuyo proclaims the following counter offer.
Firstly we do not believe in participation trophies, so if we were to be benevolent enough, only first place will be given a prize. On that note, we do feel they should be given something so we offer this.
One 20% Coupon to a member of Team 1 for a drink of their choosing.
Grog: The following tavernmates are as of legacy and contracted participants and members of the tavern staff and the deed has never gone elsewhere. Nii-Nii the Green. Tavernlord, Cookie the healer, the cook, Grog the annoying bard, Jack the mimic.
Lest new members have been initiated via the tavernlord Nii-Nii all other claims are false and heresy. We wish to speak to a lawyer if you have any further claims.
'Chop: The consulting "shadow management group" of EL Kukuyo, is obligated through its temporary contrac to relinquish full control of El Kukuyo as soon as requested. The abov payments will instead be issued through a newly establish subsidiary Tavern of "Shadow Management Group," called Casa Kukuyo.
Grog: We would like to claim a cease and desist on the kukuyo name, and propose you nickname your house carajo
'Chop: Shadow Management Group states for the record it is willing to enter into negotiations over name/title. And let t be further known that Shadow management cordially accepts Grogs proposal!
Grog: You are on less than neutral terms now and have grown one state better in the Emerald Kukuyos name. We accept there were mistakes in name. The tavern also would like to note we have a underground Skirit army of untold numbers should negotiations escalate. But would not like to cause harm unless need be.
Higure Tetrisson: Listen there is an easy way to resolve this. House Kukuyo and it’s properties shall retain their status and positions as owners of the Emerald Kukuyo. The shadow management company of the Torch bugs shall conduct its operations under the watchful eye of the Kukuyo’s with the Kukuyos to intervene only upon possible destruction of the Tavern or reputation of the Emerald Kukuyo
'Chop: By decree of Shadow Management group, Let it be known that from this day forward, the newly established tavern shall be called House (Casa) Carajo! And shall endeavor to compete against El Kukuyo to be recognized as the Number One Tavern of Shifting Tides, as determined by the esteemed publishers of the Shifting Tides Monthly, a Traveler's Guide!

I'll have to get the boss for this
@Nii-Nii the Green SOMEONE'S TRYING TO COMPETE WITH YOUR TAVERN... YES AGAIN.
Higure Tetrisson: Oh Thom. What have I gotten into this time
Nii-Nii the Green: Haha! Look at that Grog they think they can handle the local again!
I've seen your sort before trying to take over an area by so called force and "new management" as decreed by so called "Higher powers"
Grog: Should i get the Skirits? We have that one that actually listens
Nii-Nii the Green: No no, we have no need for them yet. We'll stick with our own and send Jack in if needed. Its been sometime since he's gotten to spend quality time with anyone new.
'Chop: Let it be re-affirmed negotiations were peaceful, no force was used, a challenge was made!
Peaceful! The denizens of Shifting Tides would be bored if all we had was peace!
Grog(Grog): NiiNii. Jacks been missing for the last year, he fell up a mountain somehow and hasn't been seen since
Nii-Nii the Green: (They don't need to know about his hiking accident Grog! HOW DOES A MIMIC TRIP ON A LAKE?)
'Chop: Casa Carajo Tavern will honor its commitments to adventurers contracted on 4/10/22. Casa Carajo management acknowledges that it failed to share information about the advanced intelligence and capabilities of the marauding goblins. As such and in accordance with contracts signed, it will pay out all contracted adventuring groups that helped to clear the mountain trade pass.
Teams will be paid in lump sum, it is up to players to come to a reasonably negotiated agreement as to which persons will receive which rewards. Any issues in negotiations should be brought to the attention of Casa Carajo Tavern management. Thanks,
Purpose / Function
Meant to be a place of business where travelers and adventurers can come and either relax or pick up contracts and quests.
History
La Taberna was made when a patron of the Emerald Kukuyo tavern came in and claimed to be speaking for the Kukuyos in reference to the Goblin quest given out. This was denied by both Nii-Nii The Green (original tavern owner) and Grog Alestorm (main member of the tavern) who then broke into negotiation with this claimer that only calls themselves the Shadow Management Group
After some tense talks a friendly challenge was made in where a new tavern was made under the name La Taberna. This group has since claimed ownership of the Goblin Cave contract as well as rewarding adventurers.
