Masonbreaker Briar
A native of the rocky regions surrounding Akavel, Masonbreaker Briar is named for its powerful and invasive root system that is able to penetrate hard rock to find the nutrients and water in the soil beneath. Whilst historically, it has been eradicated as a noxious weed by the denizens of Akavel in recent times it has emerged as a local symbol of The Patchwork Dream. Its destructive habits have made it an effective tool of sabotage, and on rare occasions when it flowers the mottled colouration of the petals reminds the Yerendi of their own skin.
